I have over 15 years experience,working as a carer and has developed a compassionate approach over the years, getting to know my clients interests and hobbies, so I can help them to still live their life to the fullest irrespective of tradition, culture or doctrine.
I have work for clients with Dementia ,Cancer, Chronic Conditions, I have provided Palliative Care. I provided care for Stroke Patients that has included Speech Impair.
I also have experience caring for clients suffering with Mental Health ,Depression and Anxiety.
I work well with other care team such as doctors ,therapist and the supporting family.
Before I have become a carer. I work as a Teaching Assistant and I also used to run my own Performing Arts Club for 10 years.
I really enjoyed working with children.I love to write songs ,poems and short stories. I love to read especially the Holy Bible.
I am a part of my local church and is very active in evangelism.
I am a very good at cooking and I also enjoy cooking ,baking and making healthy dishes and drink. I cook for large functions and events.
I also love to play basketball. I used to play basketball for my country and I also love to keep fit.

My sister, Judith, arranged for Ruth to come and look after our mother for 10 days while our regular carer went on holiday. Well, I wish we could have kept her. But, as my mother has dementia we felt that she would find it difficult to get used to a new person. Ruth was absolutely lovely. Extremely experienced with lots of useful knowledge and tips on how to handle a 91 year old with dementia. She was kind, thoughtful, patient. She talked to my mum and tried to engage her in interesting conversation with her (having asked me what my mothers interest had been). As far as all the practical side of things go - personal care, preparing food, cleaning up, making sure that all the medication was taken correctly, she was exemplary and I cannot fault her. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Any family that employs her to look after a loved one is extremely lucky.
